Michigan Thread - all are welcome!

Looks like it was a fun trip. My parents had a condo in AZ for years. They never traveled, except to Las Vegas and Laughlin. My husband and I took my parents and aunt to the Petrified Forest. Refused to go to the Grand Canyon. Just a big hole  They did enjoy the trip, though

So I got a bit more done on the garage today. Working in the drizzle stinks. And it was cold. Only hit 48' here. Why didn't I move somewhere warm? :he

Nice garage!

That's a great looking building for sure.
I spent the day cleaning out my garage. Got about 1/3 done, out of room in the dumpster and the shop vac bit the dust. Enough for one day and a good start.

A "real" builder would be laughing at it. There are several mistakes but considering that it has been done all by myself I'm not complaining. I'm just hoping that I can get the trusses up and the roof put on before the snow flies.

When my husband and I are building something we always say "if anyone complains they should have been here helping" :lau

I blame the second-hand smoke wafting up from the pavilion.
From the sounds of things, the second hand smoke tradition continues at that location. Actually, she said that people used to sneak booze in there, but now it's easier to just sneak in Weed to smoke instead of trying to get drunk there.

I like your husband.

RaZ, have you found someone to help you getting the trusses up?

Cold and very wet. Our furnace went out Friday. Luckily not too cold in the house. Sat was a nice day so it warmed up the house to 67. We've been maintaining a 64/65 temp since. Techs are suppose to come today. Not happy, might have to change our service company. furnace went out back in May. Of course, when a cold front moved in. Air went out just a few weeks ago when we had the high temps. Now, the furnace again. It's only 5 years old. Shouldn't be having these problems. And, if the furnace was fixed a short time ago, this shouldn't be happening again.
I got a lot of yard work done on Saturday. Turned out to such a pretty day. Hope we get some more nice days. Still have lots to do. Want to power wash the chicken coop and get new shavings in. This week looks to be very wet!

Have a nice day, all
