I'm 99% sure it was not the same one.
Hanging over the run is a good idea. A friend wants the skull. After it is cleaned.

Chickens slept on the new roost. So I'll go ahead and make the other half today.
I love re-using old materials that would otherwise end up in a dumpster.

Up at 6am this morning; the post office called with our Cackle chick order! Ordered 30, and they sent 35, and only one looks 'poorly'. Fun times again!

Ended up with 14 live chicks out of 18 locked down.
Girls will go to mill today for sale, still don't have absolute count of FvM but at least 8F.

I need to seriously consider getting some new additions to my flocks. Trying to convince the hubby we need some Buckeyes. Hes boycotting Ohio named chickens though LOL

I don't know if I broke any rules today but I sold 2 dozen eggs to a store customer.
I do know that I can post a sign on the community board but I'm just not sure how the money exchange is supposed to work. I'm sure I find out if I break any rules, or get caught.
Today was my first pay day and much needed. I was out of all hen supplies. So it is true...I really am working for chicken feed.
