Guess not much to post about. Stuck at home and nothing going on. Daughter dropped off a birthday cake and gifts last night for hubby. It's his birthday today. Stuck at home with me!! Ain't he the lucky one?? Food gifts since the retail stores are closed.

I would never say that I'm stuck at home. I would rather be here than most any other place I can think of. There are so many things that need to be done. Chores to do and ladders to climb.

I do have to make a coffee run today. Used the last to make a pot this morning. I was just going to go to the IGA in town but I need a pair of khaki pants for the Meijer job. So I guess I'll make a quick run to Wally World. I like their brand of French Roast. And I have a gift card with $40 on it.

Then I'll come home and enjoy this frozen sunshine while I can. They are calling for snow tonight.

It was cold enough last night that the Big Lake iced back up. Max and I went for a walk out on the boardwalk this morning. The wind was biting cold.

Went down to about 20 last night, heavy frost.....now above freezing, but rain and snow tonite.

Yeah, it got darn cold last night. I made a store run and my ground was crunchy frozen. Came home to find it all soft and muddy.

Picked up my coffee and a bag of cheetos. Also a pair of pants for the new job. They were on sale for $11. The paper goods shelves were all empty. Freezer case was also mostly empty. Wal-Mart also bumped their price on milk from $0.89 to $1.08. Seems like every store is gouging in one way or another.

Sounds like Aldi's $0.50 eggs....can't remember the word for the cheap basics to bring folks into the store. I certainly wouldn't call $1 gal gouging.
