Michigan Thread - all are welcome!

Been snowing all day here, tiny flakes amounting to maybe an inch.
Warm ground made it slush underneath.
Supposed to stay below freezing 24/7 from tonight until Thursday.
Michigan is so weird! It can snow all day and it accumulates like 1/16th of an inch. Laaaaame. I've lived here 11 years now and I am still not used to that. :)

6:30 pm...out to close the coop. Snow flurries.
7:00 pm...out to bring in wood. 1/2 inch on the porch.

ETA: This is the kind of soft fluffy snow that muffles all sound, coats the trees, and is beautiful to watch fall. I'm going to take the dog down to the beach and watch it fall over the lake. Magical!

Same thing here. It was doing "pretty snow" for about 20 minutes a while ago. I can hear the trees dripping on the roof now.

This could be all my fault. I just knew if I bought a water heater, we would have a very mild winter. Or first half of winter, at least. Well, it was $20 well spent, IMO. (Don't tell my hubby. He wants to go cross country skiing out in our field.)

More snow out there than I thought,
probably 4" in driveway. Another 2" forecast for tomorrow.
Cold temps tho, so should throw nicely Wed Morn.

Hubby just bought an old car/plow set up from a friend. Except it's still at the friend's house. So, here's hoping it gets here before the snow does, as he is excited to use it. It's not street legal, so it has to be hauled up. Maybe they can bring it up next weekend...? We hope.

Ugh. Then I have to clean the house up. Yeah, it would be worth it.
