Michigan Thread - all are welcome!

I hear ya Dreamz. I'm exhausted and ready to go to bed. Had a busy day at work making calls and adopting out animals. Tomorrow will be super busy since we are getting puppies in and up for adoption

Good morning Riss! You have a hard job but a very rewarding indeed. I sometimes would like a bigger dog but this little one keeps me busy at times when all that energy comes out, :lau
Have a wonderful day! The puppies will love you!

Good morning Flock!
Wishing everyone a wonderful day at all that you do. Whether is work outside or at a farm. Weather might not be so good as a sunny and not windy but if we are breathing, it makes it a good day! Heading early to Home Depot to get some stuff I need for the coop and the foundation of the shed. I also want to price out some fencing as well. See you later!
Hugs and Kisses
:love

The indoor part is 52 square feet and the outdoor area with the fencing is about 47 square feet
Inside the thick black lines....
78" x 60" = 4680sqin = 32.5sqft
48" x 34" = 1632sqin = 11.3sqft
43.8sqft

Run area....assuming coop is not raised.
86" x 106" = 9116sqin = 63.3sqft - 11.3sqft = 52sqft

What is the 2'10" x 4' box sticking out there?

It's really attached to the coop. I don't know why I put a line separating them but really it's connected to the coop. It's just more of an L shaped cool rather than just a rectangle.

I figured it was part of the coop, just not sure why such a small space,
what is the purpose of it?
...and all odd dimensions(don't match up to standard lumber sizes).

What program are you drawing that in, is it true size scale?
Have you laid out roosts, nests, feeders and such?

It was off a website called smart draw. I'm new to the building aspect but want to get good at it. What do you think proper dimensions should be cause people mentioned chicken math which I'm not quite sure how to calculate that.
