Lol. That's what another person said............ :D So does that give credibility to the zombie raccoons (idk who had the coons that just kept coming back??) :O

Glad, I have seen some young roos get their tailfeathers kicked by the hens when first added - not a bad idea to pen them separate but next to the established flock for a few days whenever adding new birds.

Silly, so glad your goat made it home

You can buy those decals. I don't know if people who prepare themselves for a so-called zombie apocalypse are serious or not. My guess is that's the way they like it.

LOL
Is it stiff or soft?
I just checked, it's still soft and what I didn't realize before is that whoever skinned it, took the carcass out of the head, leaving the belly intact. Starting to have a smell about it though.

lol. I wasn't aware that some people were serious about zombies! ha ha ha.

This was taken near croton, i think. The other person who said they saw the vehicle several times lived in cedar springs. Not sure if this was in response to a human illness, or if it was to do with the deer sickness. (could be dnr too)

Posted this earlier but it disappeared into cyberspace.
Based on last night's weather report I awoke this morning expecting fog. David and I were going steelhead fishing on the Huron river at Flatrock and I was dreading the drive based on the forecast. It was, however, perfectly clear until we had passed Metro Airport. From there, and for the rest of the day, we were in fog.

We were fishing by 730 and visibility was only about 100' and it only got marginally better as the day progressed. Just before reaching the tailout of our first run, David hooked a huge fish. Three spectacular jumps and twice it circled the boat. Just as he brought within netting distance it rolled and was off. It appeared to have been well over 10 pounds. Upon inspection of the "lucky" lure he found that 2 barbs from the treble hook had snapped off.

We were fishing with Kwikfish and Hotshot lures using a technique called "dropback fishing" and again as we neared the tailout of the next run a steelhead struck. It ran and short distance downstream without the aerial acrobatics of its predessor. It turned back upstream and briefly Dave thought he had lost it. The smile on his face as I lifted the net from the water was priceless.

With the cloud cover and fog I had thought we were in for a great day however the one 4 pounder was the only fish for the day. Still any day I can spend with one of my sons is a wonderful day.
