Well, thanks. I went outside and said loudly that she is a hen and should not be crowing. Just in case. Outside with the girls as they are roaming around the whole yard and me moving the chair around to be able to keep my eyes on them.

Oh Dreamz…I am so sorry to hear that. that happen to one of my girls and it took close to a couple of weeks for it to heal. I am sorry were not able to help her. You did the best you could. I think our first girls will always be the special group that always owns a part of our hearts.

Im still working from home and my little girls are all grown up now. One of them lays the cutest little perfect egg. I estimate the next little will be laying in a week or so based on the size of her comb and waddles. They are truly a joy that I could not have imagined life before having them. They are a responsibility, but pure joy and a gift to have them. An much better than cranky neighbors:lau

Going to work on cleaning the coop this weekend and getting it ready for the winter. Haven’t read through the posts…how are you feeling…how is your coop?

Sounds like Sally is making great progress with her coop!

Raz…how are you feeling?I hope you are on the mend. Everyone, I hope you are enjoying the fall season. Despite the rain, it has been nice.
