Just about 3 more days left of the arctic blast.

It's 21 out there now. When I opened the coop, everyone came outside. I'm not putting snow in there for them today. It's warm enough that they can come out and get water to drink.

If anyone is gonna want/need chickens, adults, or chicks I'm pretty much always will have extras. Chicks are seasonal though.
I still have extra roosters/cockerels available.

2 - Red JungleFowl/Sebright Cross cockerels

1 - Bantam white Silkie cockerel

1 - LF Silkie cockerel

1 - Taiwanese Gamefowl cockerel

1 - Indian Malay rooster

1 - Largefowl Silkie cockerel

Possibly 1 Chameleon pullet, if I don't choose to eat her. She's abit of a brat.

The extra cockerels/roosters will most likely end up as food as well if no one takes any.

Our high for today is supposed to be 21°F in our area. Currently 16°F.

23 here right now, starting to clear out the run...gonna be a bear.
5 days to clear run and a couple shed roofs of 16" of snow before the warmth and rain comes.

I got out this afternoon and got some outside chores done, including some roof raking and clearing snow in the run. It felt so balmy today compared to yesterday's high of 16 that I was surprised when I came in to check the temperature and it was... 17! The sun made all the difference.

Does anyone hear from Dreamz anymore?
