Michigan Thread - all are welcome!

It says we cannot "substatially change" anything at all exterior. If a plant of the foundation landscaping dies, the homeowner has a given number of days to replace it with the same thing. Unless the season doesn't allow. Then he has a given number of days after the beginning of the next season that allows it.

There are 50 pages of this.

It spells out that a homeowner may paint the inside his house any color he likes as long as it cannot be seen from the outside.

Blinds must be white or beige (as seen from the outside).

Oh, yeah, I would be allowed to part my suburban in the driveway or on the road as long as I take the hitch off.

The hitch off because trucks and vans 3/4 ton or less are allowed to park more than 14 days a year only if they and their load can fit inside the garage with the door closed.

She only fits in with the hitch off.

I'll share one last piece..

If any of the in perpetuity clauses are prevented from being so (I can't remember the legalese used but it is what it meant)... such as by law or physical impossibility then all the rest will continue to apply. And the unlawful or impossible one will end...

Actually, this was good enough, I got up and looked it up ...

"...then such provisions shall continue only until twenty-one (21) years after the death of the last survivor of the now living descendants of Elizabeth II, Queen of England."
