Michigan Thread - all are welcome!

This morning one of our thirteen week old cockerels tried crowing for the first time! Love it! Two more to go, soon, I'll bet. The earliest developing cockerel, the EE, hasn't opened up yet, it was one of the Australorps.

I love that first crow. It's always so cute. I'm always surprised at the age. My first rooster crowed at 7 weeks old.

I love hearing a rooster crow. I was happy when my cockerel started actually crowing instead of screaming like a girl. I sure missed that sound. Now I have to wait and hope that one of the little speckled Sussex pullets is actually a cockerel 🤞 What are the odds that every single pullet that I got from the farm store are actually all pullets???

Want one of mine?
