Michigan Thread - all are welcome!

I just posted and then deleted about the Rural King chick story, and I am horrified, but not shocked, sadly.
Assuming that these chicks arrived stressed, they shouldn't have been out there until better. Our local TSC stores have new chicks in brooders in back, probably to sort through these disasters first.
But there's no excuse for this very bad lack of care!
Did you complain to management immediately? Call Animal control, or write a bad review for this store? Apparently nobody there knew what to do for these birds, didn't care, or was 'too busy' to deal with them.
Complain!
Mary
I left a review. At the time, there was no one in the vicinity to make aware of the situation.

I have marched up to the front desk at a few farm stores and registered my concern. Most of the time it gets me exasperated look, but I always wait around until they do something. I try not to agitate the staff because it's really not their fault, they either don't have a responsibility for it or they are inadequately trained

Oh and btw I am all over the whole snow thing. Done done done. And we have a winter storm warning for up to another 6 inches tonight :tongue
I was just saying to my sister today that I'm done with wind, snow and cold. My southern hiney just can't take this anymore 🥶 Oh, and on top of that, I've slipped and fallen on the icy steps twice in the past few weeks 😖
