ANYBODY in Michigan who'e send me 3 or 4 EE fertile eggs in trade for white CHantecler, rare Canadian developed breed great for cold Michigan winters?? My girls are laying now and I'l like to add some colored eggs to my flock. Thanks

My Vorwerk rooster just committed suicide today. However, he just doesn't know it yet. He has been getting progressively more aggressive and I haven't been able to break him from it. However, today when I went to feed and water birds I found that the hen that shares a cage with him has been pecked to the point that it looks like half her neck is missing along with her head being severely scalped. My first instinct was to terminate him immediately but once I had removed the hen to a separate cage I decided that it would be better to wait until warm weather and all the bantam can be returned to their larger pen. Then once I have fertile eggs he will be on death row.

I was a good boy today. I stopped at TSC for supplies and looked at the chicks. Leghorns, BSL, BO, Cornish X and assorted bantams. I left with zero.

Tomorrow I'll get the salmon faverolle chicks. (I wonder if there are any TSC or FFHs on the way?)

Today I went to TSC, and the only chickens I bought were the stuffed ones. LOL. I did look though. BUT, since I have one hen who's chicks hatched over night, and 4 other hens sitting, I don't think I need buy chicks. I did however get an awesome pic of an ad while in TSC, and being that it may be considered offensive, I will PM the picture to anyone who needs a giggle...

It cracked me up! I saw it, and I thought, OMG, I have to get a pic of that and share it with ya'll since TSC has been on everyones finger tips these last days, especially with it being Chick Days!
