No time to name everyone but here's one tough dude named OPA (see it's on the shirt). Great day eh, Sam?

Tried mowing the lawn. Made several rounds and it started to sprinkle. I thought no harder than it is raining I'll just keep going. Then I looked to the southwest at the rolling black clouds and decided that mowing with lightning flashing wouldn't be a good idea. Just got everything put away when the sky opened up.

The rain didn't last that long and by four it was dry enough and clear enough to work in the garden. Pulled weeds from one row of corn when the sky started darkening again. Headed for the house and almost made it. Only moments after shutting the door the rain stared coming down in sheets. Wind blowing it sideways and the television beeping storm warnings for the areas east and north of me.

Granny commented on how hard the rain had came down and I reminded her how much more convenient that was as opposed to if the rain came up. Can you imagine how difficult it would be to walk while carrying an umbrella if it did.

Raining hard an understatement.

Areas of my yard that never flood are; garden a pool; AND my roof is leaking.
AND I think lightning just struck two feet from my house.

NOT a good way to get home from work:(

Looks like I need to go on a diet.
I think everyone there was sporting a "Potluck Gut" after all the yummy food.
