Michigan Thread - all are welcome!

I am a weirdo. I have friends that I don't see. My longest running friendship is going on 15 years, and I have never even met her in person. I am still friends with my ex husband, that's actually the longest... 21 years. I have never been to my best friends house. Why? Cuz I hate going to peoples houses. I am always uncomfortable. I'd rather meet at a park, if I go to your house, I'd rather be out side. Then there is my friend Joe. He was a total accident in the friend department and I .feel more like he's a brother. I have known him for going on 16 years, but we only became actual friends in the last 2 and a half.

But all in all, I talk... If you can call it that... More to people here and on FB and chicken chatter than I do face to face. I am rather physically introverted. I'd rather read a book, read odd ball news from all over the world, hang with my boys and watch weird stuff than go visiting, shopping, out to eat. I even started going to the gym alone. If I had the skills, I think I'd be a good one to put in the backwoods all alone with a small handful of people.

You're my kind of people too. Good to see so many come out of the woodwork :)

Bob, nice to see you back on .. so sorry Bry was injured, hope she recovers quickly so she can come home....

I agree a baited trap may be your best option in the city. Or contact a pest control co to help you with it.

Bobbry- So sorry about your troubles. Marshmallows works great as bait for livetrap.

Being deaf does not make my life easy, nor I make lots of friends. I had friends come and go, but have found a very few that would drop what they were doing to help me, and course, I will drop everything to help them when they need it. That is what true friends are for. :)

Oh geeze, sorry to hear about your issues BobBry. I was so far behind on posts and my internet is acting up today so I skipped a bunch of posts apparently. I've bombed woodchuck dens before with mixed results and evicted them with ammonia soaked rags in the den. Both are *okay*. I'm a wimp and don't shoot but that would be ideal I suppose. Someday I will find someone who can teach me how... when I work up the nerve to even buy a gun that is.

So I have a question for y'all. I'm going to be at the Alto Farmer's Market tomorrow and I'm going to take my daffodil bulbs to get rid of. But I have no idea what to price them at. I'm terrible at pricing things. They are all sizes/ages and I'm bundling them in paper bags, some in 1lb. and others in 2lb. weights. What would you be willing to pay for bulbs that someone dug up, that you don't know will bloom or what they look like or where they really came from?

Hi all- haven't read any recent posts, will catch up later. Just to let y'all know, you were chatting about the Ball Blue Book...

Go to Meijer, its on Sale now $5.99, if you use your mPerks discount today then you can be just like me and own the book for only $5.09!!
Much better than copying out all the recipes by hand like I did last year!!

Did I ask, anybody do wild grapes or crabapples??

Bob, hugs for you and your wife.

Lady, i am fine with ackward. I'm ackward too sometimes.

Been wanting very badly to plan a girl's tea just to be wacky and have an excuse to do some baking?

sorry it's running on, BYC is running funny for me right now.

I definately need to find a home for one of my silver duck wing OEGB roos. I have two of them and I just love them to death. They have been raised together but today have decided they hate each other and want to fight non stop. I have them turned out with my layers because I don't have any hens for them. I would be open to any suggestions or bantam hens for sale if I can't find a good home. They are just the coolest little guys. Chuckie and Paulie
