I have written to the governor requesting that the current GAAMP commissioners be replaced with people both qualified to do the job and interested enough to attend the meetings.

Came home from work to find that my cross beak had died. S/He was 7 weeks old. Kinda sad.

I think lack of attendance on their part sent quite a message. I believe this meeting was just a formality, they have to endure, but will not take what was said by us seriously. I believe even more now by the article Raz posted, that this is a done deal.

It seems that everything has royally p o e d me off!

After 20 yrs DH decided to break down and buy new coffee and end tables (we've never had any, just borrowed ones that we have to return Saturday)... and so we spend a nice chunk of change.. every piece we opened when we got it home tonight was missing veneer, loose veneer, scratched or poorly made or damaged in some way. So they all go back and I still have no furniture. I expect some degree of quality when I spend that kind of money! (Broyhill)

I'm sorry about your chick death, Chase. We had a chick with a severe cross beak who lived until 9 weeks. She was pretty awesome.

Thanks to those who attended the meeting and/or advocate in other ways. It's such an infuriating erosion of rights.
