Michigan Thread - all are welcome!

If the lighter chipmunk one is a bantam which it appears to be... its a oeg and looks like a roo.

The greyish one is a porcelain for sure, sex ?.

Chick Pics! I found out if I called to them, "Chicky Chicky Chick Chick," which is what I use for feeding, they all stop and look! Going on three weeks.....

Of course, the eggs are easy...didn't realize one had a stain on it until the pics, oh well, just going with the hatch - due March 14th. All EE mixes (is that an oxymoron as all EEs are mixes?). Silver roo EE mix is head roo, black roo EE mix is second, and red roo EE mix is third, the hens mostly brown (not sure what that coloring is called) "pure EEers" except two banty EE mix eggs, so it's a toss-upt what I will get.

Just got our first chicks yesterday. We are the proud owners of 6 ISA Brown chicks. They will be 2 weeks old tomorrow and are my son's 4-H project. Currently my son, husband and FIL are building a bator, so hopefully by next weekend, we'll have some silkie eggs to incubate! :)

Forgot to include some pics.

Probably going to the vets... For a chicken. Our nest box has a hinge on the inside, our Sumatra was by that when the door was closed. It seems she got her feathers tangled in the hinge, and I guess ripped her skin off. Anyways, off to get her fixed!

Hope she does well :fl.
