Hiya everybody! Just going to introduce myself into the community, since I haven't properly done that yet. I was just hoping to chat with some fellow Michiganders! I've got my 12 chickens and my children have found names for all of them already! We have Wyandottes, buff Orpingtons, welsummers, an ISA Red, and some Ameraucanas. We love our chickens, as do the kids! They're only about a month old and the coop still isn't finished!but other than that they seem quite happy and are very kind towards each other and the children.![]()
PM me if you're feeling lonely or just need a cheering up!

Welcome, Dixie Chick!![]()
Its my first year with chicks also -- welsummer, wyandotte, buff orpington, and a silkie...very similar! : ) Our just moved to the coop this weekend (at 8 weeks). Glad you're here!
The cans have a mixture of Karo syrup and sugar to tide them over until the flowers start to bloom. Then they are on their own.Welcome to the newbies. Raz- what do you feed them? The bees I mean. Hope they do well for you.
