Michigan Thread - all are welcome!

Quote: Van Buren County Conservation District has a tree sale, but not sure of the origin of the seedlings...they also have a native plants sale, those are grown at a Michigan business.
Got the scoop, VBCCD is very communicative and has lots of great programs:

Van Buren Conservation District; We get everything as local as possible! All the trees come from Michigan nurseries, mostly in Van Buren, Allegan and Ottawa counties. And our plants all come from Hidden Savanna nursery on the Van Buren/Kalamazoo county line.

Hidden Savanna is a great source for native plants. I have traveled out there to get plants. Can't think of the guy's name right now but he is a great source to talk to.
