Michigan Thread - all are welcome!

Haven't been on in ages between extreme work hours and now one surgery completed 3 weeks ago and another in less than 3 weeks. A few months ago I lost my dear sweet mild blue silkie rooster. Have been looking locally but haven't found anything. His hens miss him as much as I do. I don't show, but am looking for a correct silkie, preferably an adult of smaller size. My 3 hens are splash and blue. Willing to buy outright or trade for hatching eggs. I am in nw Mich, but willing to travel for the right match. Please msg with any leads. Thanks in advance.
Wishing you the best of luck with your surgeries.

it is nice out, compared to the last few days, think I will take my dog for an early walk, it's already warmer then it has gotten for the last few days, then clean the poo out of the coops,

Yeah, I did that this morning as well. Had the girls out with Miss Belle to watch them while I scrapped off most of the poop from everything. Had one board from the coop that I ended up taking inside the office in the barn because it had just this big poopicle buildup on it. Really hoping for some more nice weather here.

we can always hope!!
trimming mini's must be easier then large breeds, at least they can't kick you across the room (I would hope)  how do you keep in shape for that, seems like you must be sore when the season gets in full swing.   My daughter-in-law needed the big heater from our pole barn, so I think they were getting ready to have their  horses trimmed  up or maybe just hopping  to do some arena

Its sometimes harder with minis due to them having no ground manors. A lot of the fight me and kick. Most owners dont know how to get them to stand still or even control them. I think them are the worse to deal with... the owners lol not the minis. But yes my back is shot at 35 years old. But the more I do them again when weather gets nicer. My body will adjust to not be so sore.
But some trims I can say are a accomplishment and I am pretty proud at the end of the day.

morning everyone...hope everyone is enjoying the warm spell...as it will change in the next day or so...it was almost 80 in the downstairs of the house..65 right now...in the house.....lol
