Michigan Thread - all are welcome!

@RaZ if you'd be interested and if you have to come down towards Garden City any time soon, and happen to want to stop a little north of it I have a red orpington pullet you can have and a 3/4 red orpington hen that looks orp and should be going into a first molt any time now that you could just have for free lest I become tempted to restart with orps.

No problem if it's not what you're after or you don't want to come down. As soon as I decide to separate them from the cockerel they're listed with they should sell. (City people want hens, not cockerels, even ones that don't crow much and aren't very feisty.)

Just search Sam Grisson
Well, for once, the weather folk was right on the weather forecast. It's snowing here in the Lansing area. Looks pretty. Stay safe, people. Drive carefully.

I woke up to snow on the ground and more coming from the still dark sky. So I went back to bed.
Just rain at the moment but it could turn whiter as the day goes on.
It's going to make for an exciting football game tonight. HS Championship game tonight.

I'm going to build a dog house for the turkey. Silly bird refuses to go in the coop. He sleeps outside all the time. Sometimes under the picnic table if it is raining. I'm not sure he will even try the box.

I used to put my turkeys away every night in a lean too that had fencing for summer and plastic over the fencing in winter. I enticed them with feed, which they only got when I put them away at night. He would probably be happier if he had a place to roost (unless hes a BB.

My neighbor made this poncho for me.

Aw! That is an incredibly spectacular, flamboyantly cute poncho.
I'd imagine it might help you not get shot at hunting season as well as keeping you dry. Might also scare away all the deer.
Neighbor trying to make sure they can see you?
