I don't know for sure.
Several people have left this thread over the years. I don't know why. Some have moved away and a few were forced away when they had to give up chicken keeping. I suppose they all have their reasons for being absent.
All I know is that we miss them and I hope they come back once in awhile.

Help Michigan friends! Last year i was a new duck owner -i was told i had 3 female ducklings which really turned out to be 2 males and 1 female. I am trying to rehome a drake to even the numbers out. Anyone have any ideas how to find a new home for an approx 6 month old pekin drake??

It would help to mention your approximate location, so people know how distant you might be. Also post (pictures help!) on the duck thread. Signs with pictures at your local feed stores, or try craigslist.
There's a small livestock auction every Saturday at 11 am at Geyers Feed Store between Webberville and Williamston too.

We never did get any of that ice storm here, went north and inland, glad of that.

Was able to get some of the pile of eggs sold, my best customer took some to work with her, put it on a meeting agenda and found much interest. Hope it goes thru!
Hard to sell the extras when not part of work/church/community groups.

Yeah Silly I have goats, lots of goats. And pigs, and, and, and. And yes there are quite a few peeps not here anymore that are on FB. They may still go to Chicken Stock but for the most part they got out of critters. I ask a few every year, even offer to drive them to the event. One year I went the place had so many people and vendors it resembled a huge farm flea market. Regardless of how many peeps show up it has always been a good time.
