Getreal, I'm so sorry to hear about your bird. :fl I'll keep my fingers crossed for you that it's something different. If it is Marek's though, I hope it doesn't interfere with your being able to enjoy your birds. Many birds can still live very long and productive lives even if infected. It just means that you have to close your flock, and if you add new birds it would be best if they were vaccinated as that would reduce their chances of dying or becoming seriously debilitated.

We had a very few raindrops, the weather went around us here. Tomorrow storms predicted, so maybe then.
Four of my nine week old cockerels are practicing their crow! Love it! And, will need many of them gone fairlt soon.

Hi there,
I think I have a nine week old and I'm curious if that's when they start crowing?I'm not sure what that's suppose to sound like though. She doesn't peep anymore just like a deep bocking sound, is that a crow trying to come up?
