Have you checked in at your veterinarian's about pet sitters?

The local vet does do boarding but it it $60 per animal per day. 2 dogs and 3 cats would mean $300/day. And no place for the chickens. Not financially feasible.
Maybe a friend from FB, but not sure yet.
Still looking for a local friend who would be willing help out. One guy from work might help out. I just have to nail it down.

The worst of all of this is going to be not working for several weeks afterwards. No pay check is really going to hurt. I was just starting to catch up on past obligations. At least work isn't go to fire me. I have a lot of paperwork to do for the medical leave. I'm glad that they are so understanding.

Surgery is scheduled. July 20 is when I get split open again.
I have to go in on the Friday before for pre-op tests and even a Covid screening.

I still don't have anyone lined up to care for the critters that week. The guy I thought might do it hasn't showed up on any of the 3 days he said he would be here. He is homeless and I offered him a place to stay. One would think that he would jump on the offer. IDK

Damn RaZ! Sure wish you weren't so far out!! Keep asking around work. Tell them they can have as many fresh eggs as they want. Post in employee lounge, maybe.

It was a hot week of camping! We stayed in two different camp grounds and both had no trees to supply shade! At least the first one had a pool for grand kids to cool off in. The second they found fun at the beach. One of my dogs even had fun playing in the water. The other two didn't want to get their dainty paws wet. It's going to be another hot week! Stay cool!

Hello. Mom died on Monday last, my B-Day was Friday. Had a bunch of baby goats born the same week. Hotter than Hades here but doing farming anyway. Would love to sit for RaZ but that's all the way on the other side. About it. Peace out!
