Michigan Thread - all are welcome!

I do not think that I have the space, needless to say the township ordinance are so stupid. A friend from Whitehall can only have 3.
Then again, 7 drive me crazy, I cannot imagine 56. I would love to have 20 -25. :p
That stinks. Hopefully you can move to an area where you can have more chickens some day.

56 birds aren't too difficult to care for.

Hi everyone. Got a ride from work in the ambulance today. Staying overnight in the hospital. They think it was a TIA

Chickens won't have the coop closed up tonight. I hope they will be alright.
OhNo, not again!?!
Isn't your neighbor available, thought they had helped out before?

@RaZ…..oh no! I hope it is a short stay. Wishing you a speedy exit from the hospital to get back to the flock. Maybe you neighbor possibly a co-worker that could help you out?
Hugs your way -

Morning all!

question for the group. I have my original 5 ladies that hatched in April 2020. One of them lost some feathers in June and is shedding again now. She is also on and off when it comes to laying which is okay….she’s my Pearl eating olive Egger. When should I expect my girls to molt and how often it happen?

thanks
