there are people selling for $3.00 around us and I here $4 in the city at market. I used to sell them for 2.50 but even then you don't really pay for feed and housing. It is a fun hobby. but not real profitable when all things are taken into account

I do not think that I have the space, needless to say the township ordinance are so stupid. A friend from Whitehall can only have 3.
Then again, 7 drive me crazy, I cannot imagine 56. I would love to have 20 -25.

That stinks. Hopefully you can move to an area where you can have more chickens some day.

56 birds aren't too difficult to care for.

Morning all!

question for the group. I have my original 5 ladies that hatched in April 2020. One of them lost some feathers in June and is shedding again now. She is also on and off when it comes to laying which is okay….she’s my Pearl eating olive Egger. When should I expect my girls to molt and how often it happen?
