Out and about with my chickens. Hidden nest resulted in 10 chicks. She's a great mother though and I expect the chicks to survive even in this cool weather. Not all the chicks are visible. The one chick is enjoying the warming sunlight.

Hi Michigan Neighbors! new to keeping chickens, we are going on around 7 months. We live in Jenison (just sw of Grand Rapids) So far so good our 6 isa browns seem to figure out what to do and we average 5 eggs a day

We went to Menard's yesterday and got the polycarbonate sheets. And stuff for one of DH's projects. He has a lot of irons in the fire, close to the fire, and sitting on the hearth waiting their turn.

Yes, it was beautiful flying around and landing several times on the run and adjacent shed.
I knew it couldn't get at the chooks, so I just enjoyed the show.
