Accuweather says we got zero tenths of an inch between 9pm Friday and 6 pm yesterday.

Evidently, I need my eyes checked for the little white specks I watched float down for hours in that time. And the four inches I shoved off the driveway were a mirage. I never realized mirages were so heavy.

Sometimes it seems like that corner is waaaay down the street.

38 yesterday, 19 now. Everything was melting and is now frozen solid. Some of the ice has texture, some is slippery smooth and treacherous.

Soooo... Will Stafford and the Rams win? DH showed me a post that had people excited about "Detroit Rams" T-shirts!

Just typical of Michigan to play with our emotions when it comes to weather

Crazy! Looked like that earlier today but let up around 6ish. Can't wait for March when it's starting to get a least a little warmer

Horses are the best! We have four on our property. We board a friends shire cross, and we own an Arabian/Morgan cross, a Tennessee walker/pony cross, and we have an American Paint horse. The shire cross, Willis, is the only gelding....so you can imagine how sassy our herd is lol. But they all are REALLY sweet. I wouldn't trade em for anything! They look beautiful. I will be 60 in a few weeks and I finally was able to touch one in person. I like everything about horses but never grew up with them and have no clue. @Folly's place can assure you how scared I was but still she let me touch one. It was different and amazing.

@Folly's place Are you getting a lot of snow there? I have to go to AA on the 18th and I do not know how the weather is on that area. Want to know to see how early I should leave. You are about 30 mins from my hospital,lol

We have snow, and today again, maybe an inch. Main roads are fine, and it's way too soon to know about the 18th!
The chickens are all inside, both because they don't want to play in that white stuff, and because of the AI issues.
Tomorrow is half way through February!!!

Dream, you can check the weather for anywhere on your smart phone. We do it all the time when we're camping. 18th is this Friday, so not too early to check. Weather for AA is high of 21 and partly cloudy. No snow

I don't like being away when it is time to shut in the flock but it happens some times.

Ditto here. They put themselves to bed, and the I feel good about the security of the run. It's just the thought.

Ok, I give up. I'm going to get a pair of readers when I go to Meijers today. Type has gotten too small, and my arms get tired of holding books way "out there."

I made it to 60 without, so I figure I did ok.
