Michigan Thread - all are welcome!

I would suspect a matter of dominance. I've had the mating behaviour happen with female dogs. Perhaps others can weigh in here too.
He is dominant alright, even is mom do not to be mated by him. I think he is too harsh on her head. I did removed Pjr and e is fine with the old girls. They run him around, lol I guess they are like, no cougars here juvi-boy, lol

Stormy may have finally stopped laying for the season. She started back in November, on the 5th, so it's time she grew feathers instead!

She's the last one laying.

I'm leaving my laundry line up until next week. We're supposed to have 3 days around 70 degrees. If it looks like laundry on the line weather, I'm going to wash the dog blankets and the comforter on the bed.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE the smell of fresh line dried linen. Guilty pleasures.

Well, finally was able to grab Pjr whom after close inspection, he is in good shape and he has a new name. His name now is LoveChild. He has Pitbull 's tail nice and greenish color and his body is all sebright color like Lil'Mama. Funny, his feathers under his both wings draw a black heart on the golden color. That's why his name is LoveChild!

What a day yesterday was. Weather was picture perfect. My step-son came up with his lovely wife and their adorable boys ages 2 and 4. The 2 YO is exactly like my SS was when he was 2. Same with the 4YO.
We went on a hay ride back to the little lake and explored the area. A bit of a challenge keeping them out of the water. Came back and went on down to the big lake (Huron). There was no chance of keeping them out of that beautiful water and sand dune beach. Water was cold but little kids don't seem to mind the cold like adults do.

I had a fantastic day and I think my visitors did too. I'll bet both boys slept the whole way home.

A beautiful shorts and short sleeve day, possibly the last one we will have. I got some of my bulbs in the ground.
I also took my youngsters out of the small coop and moved them into the big coop with their mother, and put the chicks in a separate cage inside the big coop with their heat plate to finish growing out big enough to not need heat any longer. Down to one coop, another fall chore.
