I had to go out of town to babysit my grandson for 4 days. Then go to my parents town to close on the sale of their home. It's been a very busy week. And nothing but road construction, everywhere!! I'm just about sick and tired of all the stinkin' road construction!

Sorry about the frustration with the doctor.I was disappointed that I wasn't able to get pullets at CS. Haven't been able to find any. Didn't want chicks. Too much going on here for that. Summer plans were put on hold because of health issues with hubby. Was to receive radiation treatments, we thought, in June. Every time we call about dates, they would put us off 2-3 weeks. Here we are near the end of Sept, and he still hasn't started treatments. We could have done all our camping trips. Will miss our Halloween one. Our favorite. Hubby feels fine and is still working. Just so frustrating to be put off time and time again. He's called the dr twice. Hopefully, the dr is suppose to call him back today.
I have six Marans x Cubalaya cross pullets. They should be good layers. I also have three Easter Egger x Cubalaya pullets. Should be good layers as well.
