We had a bear run through here this morning around 2:30. Then when I was talking my dogs out for a walk at 9 a bald eagle flew low overhead. Dogs were leashed. That's the 4th time we've seen the eagle in the past few weeks.

We think it might have a nest nearby. There's a small lake nearby at the campground

Lots of raptors are migrating, for the next month or so. And they are hungry and looking for a free meal. This is one of those times of year when it's safest to keep your birds under cover.

Mine are all still in the small area of my coop. They won't be able to go out for awhile. Still need to build a new hoop run.
