Oh, they are so pretty!!!

They figured out where the heat plate is and spend all their time there now. It's been pretty cold up here the last few days, down to the low 30s at night.

I may or may not have ended up with 10 chicks this year. I just got them from Family Farm and Home. I did build my coop with room for around 25 hens so I still have room for more!!

I opened the pop door for the little peeps to go out today for their first time, they almost immediately hopped down and buried themselves in their first dust baths. They were outside all afternoon , fascinating the big birds in the next pen. Then they put themselves to bed in the coop. Good girls.
