Yes Eastern UP. That tree changes every year before any other tree even starts to look like it's going to color.

My bantam speckled Sussex boys have all been, every one, a little gentleman.

Zack is not like his aggressive father...

I'm keeping one of his sons, named Jacob by my granddaughters.

Thank you. He's very handsome, and respectful of his hens...who raised him and taught Zack his place.

My Blue Plymouth rock (Sapphire Gem) is a good rooster. No aggressive behavior towards humans. Did attack my daughter's dog once, which was a stranger to him. My dog got into a tussle once. But that was it. He's learning manners. Crows a lot! Think I can keep him.
Taking my daily walk with my dog yesterday morning, a big tree branch broke and fell as I was passing by. If it fell 10 minutes earlier, I would have been under that tree. It's a wooded area with loads of very old trees. I'm always picking up branches, big and small off the street as i'm walking. Scared the crap out of me and my dog.

My sapphire gem rooster named Ledo has been the nicest roo I've ever had, he is super sweet to his girls, and lets us cuddle him He doesn't really know what personal space is though, he gets so excited sometimes that he does his dance to his girls too much and steps on them while taking a dust bath
His favorite girl is Phyllis, she is the black australorp.

He looks just like mine. Kazowie is the nicest rooster I had too. No cuddles, but always around me. It's nice not to have to carry a broom with me..
