Michigan Thread - all are welcome!

Thursday night coming home, two opossums near the house. Last night, one dead in the back yard, thanks to our dogs. Tonight, one in the coop when i went to lock the chickens inside. Fortunately he didn't do any harm (yet) and now he's in the coop annex with a baited live trap. In the morning, one more opossum eliminated, and another one in the front yard tonight too.
Fall weather and they are moving around? All of a sudden more seen near the house and barn, and they need to be gone ASAP.
Rant over!

My gardens have all been put to bed for the season. My fall beans did TONS better than my summer beans. DH still has pepper plants to deal with. My garlic and Egyptian Walking Onions are planted. I also put in a few spring-flowering bulbs. I cleared out some of my hosts, today. I'll do more, tomorrow, weather permitting. Just looked at the forecast - its going to be beautiful! ♡

My roses are still blooming. Hard to put flower garden to bed!
Coyote spotted too close to my house. Way too close. Son in law sat in my yard for a few minutes with a 22 waiting to see if it would make an appearance. Think he went into the wooded area next door.
Lots of molting going on. One of my teenagers, a 5 month old LB is limping. Don't see anything wrong. She was the one that wasn't growing when I first got her. Slept a lot. Then she started to "wake" up and eating and growing. Now, I think she's bigger than the other LB. Don't know if the rooster hurt her mating. Or, growing pains? I don't know. She lays around a lot. Always did, even before her limping. Otherwise, the flock is doing well.
Got my Halloween decorations up. Love Halloween. Did cutesy when the kids were young. Now, I went to the dark side. :lau
