Michigan Thread - all are welcome!

:lau

I did, but it made me laugh.:hugs

We were going to have breakfast out with out of town friends, but one is sick/getting over it. We rescheduled for Friday. Now I really hope that they're wrong about the freezing rain.

About a year ago, we went out to dinner and drove home in freezing rain. Nearly couldn't make it home in the Jeep. Not doing that again.

Belated Merry Christmas to everyone. Hope everyone is staying safe today. I went sliding across my porch when going out to care for the hens this morning and my pines are sagging from the ice. Praying for the wind to NOT pick up.

Mary, how are those chicks doing? Pics yet? I've been visiting Meyer's website way too much since you posted about it.

Stay safe! Here the weather report says it's 33F, but at our house nothing is thawing yet, so not 32F. No wind, and maybe 1/4inch of ice on the trees, so okay so far.
Chicks are doing fine, now four are about five weeks old, and three, including my lone bird, are two weeks old. No pictures yet, but maybe next week.
And our October bantam EE chick is starting to crow! His bantam porcelain booted bantam buddies, a pair, are fine too. The pair will need a new home later this winter, BTW.
Mary
