Michigan Warm Up....4mth old ducklings going outside!(PICTURES

Are you on the blog to? You then may have already figured out who I am on there:P It's nice to have someone on this board who is close by. Can I ask how close is close to Cedar Springs? My only problem is with these ducklings is when they all flock up and stare into the house from the slider door as if they are cold. I must resist their "Ducky sad eyes that try to say MOMMY WE'RE COLD LET US BACK IN!" LOL!!

I'm about an hour E-SE of you. I think there are a few people closer to you than I am though. I know one for sure. Have you checked out the Michigan thread yet? Lots of great people over there.

I'm not on the blog, as in I don't comment on it, but I do read from time to time. We're kind of on the far NE edge of the viewing area, but WOOD does seem to have the most accurate forecasts for us most of the time.

When they give you their ducky eyes just remember: they're covered in a down coat. They're just fine! Actually they are probably more comfortable in the cold than they were inside.

Michigan Thread!? WHERE?? LOL, I didn't know there was one. I think I know the general region you are talking about. I'll be getting a 10x10x6 dog kennel at our local TSC to put the ducks in this week and then put their shelters in it. The only duck that will probably be more FT indoor duck is our special needs girl. She can't tread through the snow. She's fine otherwise. But I'm looking out on our deck and they don't seem cold at all, shouldn't be it's 42 and they are in the kiddie pool I put out today.
