well the snow has already started here. chucks in Ann Arbor today and he said its snowing there to.
there going to leave work early today, he has to come up US 23 and that fwy i hate in the winter, its nothing but ice.

you think after all these years they would be able to do something about the blow over on the road from the fields.

Know exactly what you mean, Shelley! Hubby has been home too. Did I tell you he got laid off? He still works "part time" for one guy. But his main boss that laid him off still calls hubby for advice, etc. Told hubby to tell him the he don't get to have it both ways. He's either laid off or he's working! Guess got to keep the lines open if things pick up. Keeping hubby busy redoing the bathroom. After that, I'll have to find something else.

It's really coming down! Dogs want to go for a walk....I don't think so!!! If it were just snowing, but the wind was blowing it right into my face. Could walk backwards when I'm headed into the wind.

Roads are horrible. Hubby got told to return home instead of trying to make it to Ann Arbor and Detroit. Dang, was looking forward to a day to myself! Oh well, guess I have to put up with him. Stay safe!

Yep snows still coming down, but nothing like I expected. I can still see the grass poking through. Looks pretty, but feel bad for all the birds. I did not let them out this am and now it's too late in the day. Oh well, they were out free ranging from 9am - 5pm yesterday. The geese really enjoyed it. They even caught some air and got about 18" off the ground. Heehee. It was fun to watch. I tried to get some pictures of everyone, but they wanted to check the camera out more than they wanted to model. Gonzo and Kermie both enjoyed seeing there reflections on the front of the camera. Gotta love those Dels.

No snow fun for us today. Jared stayed home from school sick. I had to take him to the Dr., so I had to placy hookey also.

We cuddled up in my bed all afternoon. I'm trying to enjoy these moments as he will be 10 this year......growing up way too fast. Gosh I love that boy.

Snow is coming down pretty heavily and we have about 2 inches now. It looks like the snowblower may get a bit of a workout. I had hoped that the charm would have lasted longer but I guess we can complain given the number of major storms that have missed us. It once again looks like we still won't get as much as those to the south of us.

Well we still don't have as much snow as I ecpected, but hubby took the day off tomorrow just in case. Between his car, Jared sick, and the posibility of a snow day it seemed like the thing to do. At least I will not have to worry about calling in again.

I can't even tell you how much snow we have because it is drifting. My back yard has open fields on each side and my grass has been uncovered most of the day, but we have 8 to 10" drifts over the sidewalks and around the side of the house. We are 20 mins north of Dundee. The neighbor has had his tractor and blade out twice plowing his driveway. The kids have their pj's inside out and backwards, gonna put a spoon under their pillows and a white crayon in the windowsill. They really want a snow day.

for a snow day. The students were squirrely today in anticipation of having the day off tomorrow. If we don't have a snow day I can bet they won't have their homework done!

Hello Whatshisface! I saw on another post that you are in the Rives Jct area! I live south of Jackson, in Jerome. My husband is from Rives! His mom and dad and several siblings are still there. Were you raised there?

Evening, all!

I'm with Briana...the drifts are so bad here that I can't tell how much snow we've got. Enough to plow tomorrow...that's for sure.

My chickens sure weren't happy about the coop door being closed today.

If the wind wasn't blowing in that direction, I would've opened it up and let them out. I have a few that don't mind the snow and wind.

Looks like Logan and I will be sledding tomorrow if the wind dies down.
