The snow has just begun, here in Bay City. I planned to visit some people to sell tickets to a community breast cancer fundraiser. I might have to make some phone calls instead...

I am TIRED of winter!

I'll bet my son is wishing he had put his snowplow back on his truck. Fortunately his wife doesn't work on Mondays so he can come and get the plow at his leisure.

I'm will have to shovel the back deck and stairs before it quits so that I can go check on the birds.

Then when it finally quits I'll breakout the snowblower

This was my front porch just after 7am. We are in Monroe Co. They keep saying were not supposed to get much snow. No school again. My chickens are gonna hate this. So is that robin we saw yesterday.

Good morning everyone!

It wasn't snowing here when I went out at 6:30...but right after daylight, the white out began. We've only got a couple of inches...and I hope it stops soon. I was kinda liking the looks of the bare ground.

good morning! snow is just lightly falling here. Its kinda pretty (what was I thinking) since the sun is coming up. Its enough to cover up the bare spots that melted this weekend. Couldn't shut up the chickens last night - door froze in the ice. Ducks are already out playing in the snow.

The weatherman is WAY off. It's been snowing very fast since at least 4;30am where I am. We have at least 8in of snow so far. It's not letting up at all. Doug drove to Livonia early this morning, and got to work on time. He said the roads were very very ugly.

I'm from New England, and I know snow. This is more like blizzard snow, not " 6 inches tops " the weatherman said this morning.

I'm sure the poor guy is receiving some angry emails this morning.
