Steve my hubby's been out to Montana for Elk & Mulies.
He got a young fork horn Mule Deer but no Elk.
Actually camped out in a tent for a week in the mountains and rode horses out everyday to hunt.
he encountered a Grizzly Bear too.
I want to go to Europe but with winter descended upon us all I can think about is the Caribbean.

Kris Rose I don't drink much but I was a boozer in Mexico.

We went snorkeling at Cozumel.
Did you go to the Mayan Ruins at Tulum, Coba or Chichen Itza?
We went to Tulum...not as big as Chichen Itza but just incredible!
On a bluff over looking the ocean.
Heard the ride to Chichen Itza was rather grueling (3- 4 hours long due to all the stops) so we took the AC Greyhound style bus to Tulum, only about a 30 minute drive and it was great.
It was weird looking at something so ancient.

....I had NO idea they did that there.

Took a glass bottom boat in Cozumel.

Had lots of BudLight by the pool.

And had a wonderful time with my wife.

She played bingo a lot.

Oh ya we saw topless too.

Playa gets alot of Europeans.
I just don't get the topless sunbathing thing especially in that blazing sun. OW!
Our son took slow daily walks on the beach.

I've heard the US Virgin Islands are pretty awesome.
Did you like it better than Mexico?

What was Belize like?
Farther south sounds good to me!

From the time I hit the dock till I left I was at a dive shop getting gear so I didn't see anything in town.

But underneth the ocean surface was stunning....so clear and full of fish of every color imaginable.

The naked lady was about as thrilling as watching paint dry.....

My wife spent the day in town with her sister and had a gret time.

The topless sunbather we saw was young, trim and had HUGE implants! It was quite a spectacle.
I assume that was the reaction she was seeking.
Apparently some people need alot of attention.

We haven't been on any cruises.
Sounds like you had a great time.

Got up this morning at 4 and took Hope to work. She works a couple of day a week for a bakery and didn't want to drive hereself. Roads were nasty but not much traffic. All that talk last night about warm weather and sun drenched beaches certainly made our snow covered terrain seem much bleaker. I probably will regret not having gone back to bed when I got home but I thought I check BYC real quick. Well I'm sure you all know how that goes. Now it doesn't make much sense to go back to bed. Maybe I'll just wait and take an afternoon nap.

We passed on the trip to Chichen Itza

. I would have loved to see it but my friend wasn't into ruins. We went to a water park instead. Got to see dolphins up close, they are huge!!
We were at an all inclusive hotel right on the ocean side. Good deal but you end up staying at the hotel and not trying the local restaurants.
Its warmer here, about 16, but got alot of snow. The TV says we got 3.3 " at the airport but my boots say 5 to 6. Wil have to get the tractor out today.

Well I got this to say about all this cold weather we been having.

I converted my house to burning corn about 3 years ago, this year is the year the unit will have paid for itself in savings over propane. Our house has been super warm and comfortable in all this cold.

Warm floors, wether it be hardwood or ceramic tile....everything is warm. So nice to come in from this extreme cold and warm right up.

I'm glad I switched.

Speaking of cold weather, those of you who are building a new coop this year might want to consider having at least your egg box insulated. Here's a picture of a 4x6 coop I built for Wynette.
