chickenhappy -- Welcome! I hope your power is back on sooner rather than later. I guess once again the one pro to being further north rears it's head, no ice to knock out the power here just a foot of snow! LOL!

HH -- I saw some lionheads in TSC the other day. They are SO cute! Hopefully you won't have too much trouble placing them.

I'm excited to announce that after PMing Olive Hill all day I've decided that I will be taking Mr. McFluffyPants!!! I will be picking the handsome guy up on Thursday!

Funny thing is the one male I actually wanted when we were both at the small animal swap. He was so cute! But I have to know my limitations. He is a little orange and white bunny, kind of looks like he has a mohawk

FunnyBunnies, that is wonderful!

Too funny. I know what you mean about limits. It's why I got rid of the ducks this year and why rather than creating more management for myself I'm selling Mr. McFluffyPants as well. I just don't have the time, have to cut back/down and streamline as much as possible. The American Blue Geese will be next. I'm going to breed them this one season since the guy who was supposed to buy them never made it to actually do so and they're still here and then I'll put them back up for sale.

Olive, that is the reason fo me not having a garden this year. My Dr raked me over the coals last year because I was doing to much but I hated to see any of it go to waste. I don't know how to plant a small garden.....

LOL! A woman after my own heart. 12 varieties of tomatoes here this year. And it's only February which means we'll end up with at least 15. I really, really forced myself to show some restraint this year, too.

If it's not too early for it when we exchange roos this year remind me and I'd be happy to provide just a couple seedlings for you, if you'd like to have just a container or two on your deck this summer.

Not that I want to be an enabler or anything but I can probably spare a seedling or two... LOL!

I keep thinking I know my limits as well, but let's see, 1 Great Dane, 2 cats, 2 Guinea Pigs, 12 house rabbits, 11 ducks, and soon to be 1 Goose, I don't think I have learned my limits yet! But I think Mr. McFluffyPants will be my last addition..............I THINK!

Oh, that sounds great! I was thinking I should at least have a couple of tomato plants on the balcony since DH loves fresh tomatoes. I planted about 80 tomato plants last year

FunnyBunnies, it's not easy to restrain myself but I do since DH would have to pick up the slack if/when I cannot. So far I have not had to ask him to take care of the chickens at all, just had to get him to build/remodel the coop.

I think why I add onto the zoo/farm is to keep myself and the kids busy while my dh is in Afghanistan. I got to keep on keeping on. And the ducks and the rest of the animals have been a God send and have certainly kept me busy which has helped time go by faster and I also get to join wonderful forums like these and meet wonderful new people who have the same thing in common that my extended family just doesn't get or understand

. I look at it this way, WHY be normal??
