Good Morning all.
I learned a good lesson at work yesterday- never question authority, lol.
I overheard my boss telling my coworker that he needed her to look up food prices, and make sure our mark-up is correct. She doesnt do food- I am the nutritionist, and I also order all the food for the hospital. She does the drug ordering, etc for the hospital. So, I questioned why he was having her do it. Just a simple little, "why are you having her do the food pricing?" Simple, innocent enough.
Next thing I know, he handed me 12 sheets with one hundred codes on each one, and told me to look them up- told my coworker she was off the hook. (five minutes before my shift was over).
Oh, due by noon today. So, I was stuck at work until 8:30. I feel like I just left, and have to get ready to return.
I am very excited that my turken eggs are on Day 13.
However, my lone olive egger chick is three weeks old. Somehow when I did the calculating, it was going to be big enough...no wait, it was going to be SPRING enough for it to move outdoors, when the turkens hatched. I just know its a roo- big legs, looks like an ostrich. I have no idea what I am going to do with it. Very cute, but I cant take a single roo over to my brother in law- I gave him a billion roos last year. He will shoot me. He definitely does not need another roo. Maybe I will be wrong, and "Cupcake" will just be a very butch girl. If my battery in my camera was charged, I would show you a picture.
All the talk about Miss Jaynes house makes me jealous. I wish I lived closer to everybody. With lots of land....and turkeys.
