I did this morning....it was quite funny. It's funny how only the "owner" knows when they do. I let them out and they ran out into thier run and to the main door. (The door I go in, is right next the run and thier door is out the back) They were chirping and purring and clucking at me all lined up like "Hey! Where's the corn!?" I just lauged all the way to the house. So when I look out the sliding glass door, and they notice me, they all line up next to each other and look at the house!

We celebrate Christmas too. I am the only "heathen" lol. I have mixed beliefs in both religions. I have 3 daughters, and all three have different beliefs, so we are open to everything.

Great job!!!!! Very cool for him.

Sorry for all the posts, but I can't figure how to multi-quote. Other forums I am on, you can do that. Hmmmm.....

Just finished collecting my "egg" and doing chicken chores...had to share that yesterday my "excelsior" bedding arrived that I ordered. It is for use in the nest boxes. You know how the hens always tear OUT the straw?? I tried the pine shavings...they would push them all around until the egg was on the bare wood bottom. I read about the "excelsior" bedding and today is the first day I went to see how it worked. It worked GREAT!! So maybe I am somewhat "picky" but I did not like straw getting all over and plus...I like to just scrap the poo off the boards and it is easier without straw from nests mixed in. The egg was nestled right on top of the new bedding...no mess...chickens liked it...good product!

To my knowledge there is no function for it on BYC, but all you have to do is copy and paste the post you want to quote into your post and put it inside quote tags.

1. Copy the post you want to quote.
2. Paste it into the post you're drafting.
3. Make sure it is highlighted and click the button above the smileys that says "Quote".
4. Repeat for any others you want to quote in the same post.

I am going to share a story with my friends on here that I rarely share with anyone. My sister and I are devout Catholics. Growing up our brother was always an atheist. 5 years ago our brother was murdered in Kalamazoo and three months before that he shocked us all and started going to church. I don't know if he felt something was going to happen or what but it totally took me by surprise when he told us this. But just because he was an atheist doesn't mean we loved him less. I like everybody ( unless they give me a reason not to). I don't know why but I just felt like I needed to share this. I like people for who they are. Not their religious views and not their political views.

yup. People have a right to their beliefs or lack of beliefs. No one is any better than anyone else in that regard. I am God believing. I however do not go for organized religion. I can read the bible and understand for myself. I don't like someone who tells me half passages to make their point but ignore the rest, because it doesn't fit with their point. To many churches do that. I was however raised Catholic, and at heart I still am.
