Ummm, Farmerboy, let me know how new those clothes look when you get home from milking cows
Were you able to finish the fencing before this winter blast hit?
Yep, my snowsuit had cow manure splatter on it, and my coat had a BIG smear of cow manure on the arm, of course it had cow manure perfume on all of my clothing. Sniff, mmm smells nice.
I am probably considered a freak.
Well, we got all of the T-posts in, and 1 roll of barb wire on, but have lots more to go. I just brought more insulators for the wires. We will have 4 strands of wire instead 2, so we will not have to chase cows often. I will work more outside today in the sunshine, but its 19 degrees out. Brrrr

How in the world did you miss the smoked turkey????
Just bout froze my toes and fingers off taking care of the chickens this morning. Sun finally came out, but don't think it'll help much.
Hey Sam! Looks like you're gonna have to make more smoked chicken. These folks are already hungering after your chicken.
Smoking chickens can be rather difficult. Your fingers get all stretched out trying to hold them and then the hardest part is trying to decide which end to put against your lips and which end to light.
Last year there was 8 chickens on the table plus 2 that I put in the raffle. Looks like this year I may have to do a few more. It takes the better part of two days to smoke chickens but evidently everyone thinks it's worth it.
