Good Morning, rough night, first cup of Joe is being sucked back. I was thinking an IV might be quicker. Anyway, I do not mind all the changes EXCEPT my old beastly machine is very slow. Loading each page is exhausting. I do like the new "Search this Thread" though. There have been times where I know certain treatments or the like have been discussed on here in the past but finding it was near impossible. I am sure I will be using that feature a lot.

My DD was up complaining of being sick last night. Now I need to wake her up find out if she is indeed too sick for school.

Tags are a way of labeling a thread for better search-ability. They're words that describe the page. So for this one they might be:

Michigan Chicken Poultry Backyard

and so on and so forth.

The first item on the WYSIWYG editor is Source which will display the HTML markup. I'm a code monkey for a living so unless I want to do something extra fancy, I just use the WYSIWYG editor. Seems too much like work, otherwise.

Thanks. I didn't see that up there. :)

The weather folks can't seem to decide how much snow we're supposed to get here in this part of the state. Some say 1-3" some say 4-6". I'm hoping for 1" or less. It'll melt faster that way when the warm weather decides to show its face again. And hopefully that's soon. I'm ready for spring. Ready to plant. Ready to start canning again. Bring on April!

Good mornin' Michigander's! I guess winter will finally be making its debut. Our chickies have sure enjoyed their lawn munchies without snow on the ground.... Create a great day y'all!

there are not many choices to pick from. Seems to be tags for ads/company products only.

I am so happy there is a spell check button.

Thanks guys, sure could use all the hugs. I've had Shirley for 5 yrs. She was a beautiful BA. Wasn't a easy thing to put her down. The hawk was still hanging around early evening. They will be in lock down for a few days.
This new BYC is interesting. Going to take awhile to get use to it.
Are you all ready for the snow that is forcasted? I'm not. Liked this mild weather.
Take care....
Hugs to you Chickflick. We've had hawks screeching around here for the past month. I let my flock out but they usually stay under something....guess they are smarter than I thought! You'd think they would go for smaller prey but I guess a nice plump hen is too much to pass up. :(

So far this new BYC format is causing me to want something stronger than coffee.

I think us older users have more techy problems. In the past month I''ve had to work on the computer via phone help (and not very good at English making it even harder), work on our new Directv system (via phone also but English at least) and so my patience is somewhat thin in discovery all the new things here on BYC. I think I'd like to share whatever you have to drink Opa!

Good morning everyone! Think I am finally getting the hang of this new format. I am going to try to add a photo to this post, hope it shows up. I can't do any of the fun things with color and font size on my tablet but when I am on the computer everything works fine.

Here are some pictures from yesterday.

Yesterday's Hawk.

Boo, being her friendly self.

Sand bathing under a trailer.

Group of birds including 4 roos. You can even see Al's bald head in this one, poor boy needs toupee work.

That proves to be very easy!
Off to the coop to give some treats.
