The problem is not that he drips water, the problem is he takes his big clod feet and scratches at it until he tips it over. I even put it up on a platform and he still found a way to tip it over. I think he gets a thrill from tipping it over and getting everything wet. If I didn't know better I would swear he was half
duck !!!!!

I had problems with a feed container that was always getting knocked over. Not sure if this would help you, or if I can describe it right, but I took a board about 7 inches wide and a foot long. I nailed two smaller pieces parallel under it for height. So it looked like a capital I. Then I put the feeder on the board and took huge nails pounded in at an angle on three sides so the feeder wouldn't tip but I could slide it out the one direction. The chickens couldn't tip over the whole thing, too heavy and big.

That sounds like an idea too. Raz gave me a good idea earlier. Will have to try one of these. Thanks

As RaZ has pointed out, it's about 95% female on this thread! But we DO cherish our male peeps, so we're glad to have him!

Silly Girly That nasty stuff will stunt yer growth.

what a long nite! Subdivisions were so icy! A few times I had to roll back downhill and get a running start! Uuuugh.

I forgot to go get coffee... Need a nap though. Have to work again in a few hrs, but have to get up in a few to set the girls free...

Good Morning!

Where is everyone?
My husband said-
"i didnt get coffee. I have to go get some when I wake up."
Well, he isnt up yet------but, I had some of the Starbucks Blonde left over for days like this, in the freezer. Forgot about it until a few minutes ago. Sitting here with my first cup, and he is lying in bed thinking he has to go to the store.

Maybe I will drink it all before he gets up.

Nova- glad you are home safe.

Stunt my growth?
Oh thank goodness.. Im plenty wide enough, no need to get any wider............

SAM WHERE ARE YOU?

Morning! I remembered the coffee yesterday! So that's were I'm headed after checking on the birds.

What do you all do to trim claws? I have one guinea who broke a claw, blood everywhere. While inspecting to find the injured bird I found another one with a huge claw that I'm sure will also break if not trimmed.

Well then he won't be much better off over here!

You know what they say about too many roosters in the hen house!

Raz just consider yourself hen pecked. I have one poor rooster, Al, that takes all the abuse, but he's my favorite because of it, how can you dislike a rooster that graciously lets the girls pick on him.
