I self medicate with cinnamon capsules (blood sugar) and B complex stress tabs(energy), calcium, vit D, (bone loss) probiotics(acid reflux, ibs) and eat salmon weekly (cause I like it).
I take papaya enzymes for my acid reflux, it works like
magic!
Maybe next year I will get up the balls to do my own.
Okay, I can't say as I really think this is truly a quote from Betty White, but still...
That means you don't drink milk, either? Just curious. I got mine for the eggs. I like to not eat meat if i can help it, but DH is a hunter and loves it, so when he's away i survive on eggs for protein. Shhh!
Nope, we still eat a vegan diet with the exception of eggs from just our chickens. My FIL is a hunter, and he is always telling us about what he shot and so on, LOL. He doesn't quite understand why we're not terrifically excited.
I hope you feel better soon.
Thank you! I had a quite terrible attack this morning, which left me dry heaving, gagging, and choking away between hacking a lung up.
And, you know what? While we're on the subject of natural medicine... While my inhaler helped, it did not stop the attack and gagging, but the homemade chest rub I whipped up the other night? Stopped it immediately. It was
awesome!
I use some version of this on my kids whenever they are sick, but this time I may have gone a bit overboard. I pretty much added everything that I generally pick one or two of, but I was so miserable and couldn't sleep at all.
I put some olive oil in a jar, and added to it some eucalyptus essential oil, (many people stop there,) and peppermint oil, then crushed into it dried thyme, basil, and rosemary from last years garden. Mix it all up, and rub it on your chest, or sometimes I just huff the bottle.
I missed it!! My alarm woke me up for it at 4:00, and I turned it off, and next thing I knew its 7:00!!! I was results.
Sorry you missed it.

Sounds like something that would happen to me.
