Well, the chicks I got at TSC was labeled Black Jersey Giants and they are Barred Rocks !!!!! In with the Black Sex Links I bought is a chocolate brown chick. No idea. They need new help at the hatchery apparently. And the hatchery packers couldnt tell?![]()
OR...
the TSC people couldnt tell when they put them in the bins and labeled them RED PULLETS?
AND...
I couldnt check my box of chicks BEFORE getting home?
*sigh* *insert dejected smilie here* Of course I would buy cockerels out of a pullet bin. Of course.
Looks like my family is going to have some chicken in the freezer this Spring.
How old should my crowers in the back be before they go to Freezer camp? They hatched December 15th...not sure there is any meat on them..not sure on anything, actually.. lol.
