The entire thing is frustrating, and confusing, and there is a lot of misinformation out there, from both sides. It is difficult to wade through, and filter. Having been a vegan for almost 10 years before getting our own chickens and starting to eat our own eggs, I have always felt that PETA was my biggest enemy in the fight. /sigh

HEY! Leave Peta out of it. She's just an actress!

Oh, you mean that PETA....

There is a book in Barnes and Nobles, who has fairly decent coffee.... Even though I know Juise will totally disagree... HEEHEEE... Anyway, this book is called something like "Grow everything on 1 acre". Well, anyway, this book is about taking your measly 1 acre of land, and using it to grow all the produce you would need for the year. Also I believe it has a bit on raising chickens and using said chickens for bug control AND tilling. LOL. Since they will dig the crap out of your veggie beds big time, which turns the soil and compost for you at the end of the season, and the beginning too. You let them in before planting, and you will have NO weeds left that had started growing. Yup... I have no weeds in my planting box out front right now!

Forgot to add... Monsanto is just trying to work on population control. I mean, look at the hundreds of Indian Farmers who committed suicide after using Monsantos crap, being trapped into contracts... SO the only way out and to free the family was to commit suicide. Population control.

Ok, I know, that was really bad... But the irony is its seems to be a messed up sort of truth.

Well, they haven't done a very good job on mine! @#$*%^* dune grass.

Uh... Nova! You killed the thread! It was you. It was totally not me.

Seriously, you guys are doing a pretty poor job of amusing me today. Where'd everyone go?!

Ugh, you want tadpoles? Why didn't you just come over to my house with a net and bucket?
