Sarah92480: The spinach flavor is covered up by the fruit and honey, you can always use more yogurt or honey if required. This may sound bad but for a real treat I will add just spinach/banana/milk/chocolate, all you taste is chocolate covered bananas....they like it but I am not a huge chocolate fan, I prefer blueberries or cherries.

Juise: never thought about trying kale, I would love to discuss some of the ways you use vegetables with your children/family. I am always looking for creative ways to add new vegetables to our table, I am working hard to increase our vegetable and fruit intake. Good luck with the basement project.

Robin: Thank you, I need to talk to you more about locating some lambs next spring.

Again I know I missed some folks, thank you all for the warm welcome.

A little on the cool side this morning but the rain is out of here so that' not all bad. Lots of things I should be doing it's just a matter of finding where I've misplaced my roundtoit.

Okay,

I think for the most part I am caught up..i see that Olive is getting a new puppy...congrats,
RaZ why have you not eaten any pizza in years?
FarmMom didnt read my huge post describing what an Uggo is..
Teeville, I am so sorry about your loss...
Juise looks very young and uses her dog to scrape her floor...I have thought about using one of mine to mop the floor before...
Nova got more chicks...I dont know why when my yard is overflowing with chicks and she could have had some..
Chickmate finally caught her congrats to the wrong person, but if there is a lurker named Angela, they are freaking out, wondering how she knew they got a new job..
There were no new bunny pictures of MY bunny, but there were some cute ones and I feel a compelling need to save the grey from its ultimate fate...
Sam wants to make me a really cute banty house..
Couple of you love my evil cat, that said- I have a scaredy cat Persian who almost knocked my coffee into my lap and she may want a new home if she doesnt stop running through my house thinking she is being attacked by an Evil Spirit that has slipped through an unseen portal in my home..
The sun is coming up enough that I can see I once again have lake property. *sigh*...is there any grass that can grow under water? Am I doomed to only have algae?
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just thought of something that the VA said to me last night, and I want to share.
I bought a forty pound bag of dogfood and a twenty pound bag of cat food.
I asked the VA if he could carry the dogfood out to my van for me as we were leaving (I am his supervisor, but I wasnt telling him he HAD to carry it out, I was asking a favor) and I picked up the cat food..and he said, "SUre, I can carry it"..so, we are walking to my van and he says, "Im glad that Im not 40" and I said "Why?" And he said, "Because i have 20 more years before I will have to ask someone to carry out my bags. My body still works"...

And to which I replied, "Well, Im 43, not 40...but enjoy it while you can because one day, it wont just be your shoulders or back that doesnt work anymore...."

I once bought my mom a roundtoit!

It was fashioned to be a keychain..and she told me "now I dont have an excuse anymore to get away without doing something..."

It was cute a keychain- a round circle with the word 'roundtoit' on it....

Olive,.

I like whiskey names for male dogs, since they tend to mellow and get better with age.

GoodMorning EMAW. Mmmmm, spinach smoothies. Now were talkin'.. we have a few experiments that we like our house. One is Cherry,Cabbage, pear and beets.......another and. I think by far my favorite is: apples, blueberries, and a couple of dates , soaked pumpkin seeds, sometimes a egg yolk from our free.range.chickens. I mix it without much water and my kids and I have that for breakfast.

I'd probably misplace something like that....................In fact I know I would.

GoodMorning Opa,
I'm still stuck on the all the candling talk.....is there a way to tell without cracking an egg open if it is firtil or not. When we have eggs for breakfast I check them for the bullseye but they seem to be hit and miss. My rooster is getting older and maybe not as zealous as he once was. He has 4 hens all to himself.

One more question for you or anybody else that wants to chime in: I have 2 FBCM pullets that I'm guessing are around 5-6 months old. They are now clucking like hens and.not chirping like babies, and let's just say the rooster has been giving them some extra attention...but no eggs yet. Shouldn't they be laying by now?

OMG! Its freaking crow Ville out there.

there is frost here.

I just found my youngest laughing hysterically in his sleep.

my kidneys are kicking my back.

I am going to bed. I miss coffee.

Lere.... Brrr... Boomer... More dog ideas.
