Raz you could always set up a cheap web camera when you leave the house. Which store do you hit? The Bordines is pretty big.

I might leave them and I have two more beds to check. Either way I need to go and buy more soil and pots so I can split the purple chive.

RaZ - I agree with VJ. I am not really a vindictive person, even if sometimes I pretend to be, or think about it really loud in my head, and I do my best to avoid confrontation, (I still haven't worked up the nerve to call the person that ran over my mailbox two days ago,

even though they left me an apologetic note and their phone number,) but things like that would start to push me over the edge. That really is not acceptable behavior. I feel that if she hasn't stopped doing these things yet when she realized she was getting no reaction, she's not going to stop just because her ridiculousness is being ignored. She is just going to escalate her vengeful little antics in hopes of getting that reaction. I suppose you have already tried having a chat with her?

No hoeing today, but a whole lot of forking. Those woodchips finally arrived!!! This is my favourite mountainous pile of woodchips to pitchfork by hand ever. It is better than all of the other umpteen bazillion mountains of woodchip piles I have ever had to spread, (I did a lot of landscape work growing up,) and for 2 reasons.

Reason # 1.) For the first time, it is MY giant mountainous pile of woodchips, I actually wanted it and will reap the benefits.

And # 2.) For the most part, I only have to spread it all out where it already is, without lugging it around, a wheelbarrow load at a time, all over some rich fart's expansive property who totally could have afforded a better way to do this but were too cheap. Motherless sons of.. er, ehem. Anyway...

YAY WOODCHIPS! I will move some to mulch the path to the coop, and we'll see how much more I am left with extra to do other stuff with. As soon as this is all done, I can finally get all those fruits and veggies in the ground and out of the greenhouse, I can't wait. Also, the kids think a giant mulch pile is the coolest thing ever.

Glad you're doing something RaZ.

Well, I just came in to cool off a bit and open a beer, back to the wood chips. Last night I installed a bottle opener I picked up at the hardware store on the underside of our computer desk. (We have a really long desk we made so DH and I could have our computers at the same desk.) I put it right in the middle. The look on DH's face last night when I got beers out, reached under the front lip of the desk, popped the top off, and handed one to him was priceless!!

A friend of mine's husband has set up cameras all over their house and yard. I think I'll get his help.
The only tricky is keep the field of view restricted to my property entirely. There is a trespassing ordinance here that says you can't take images of another person's yard. (I found that out after a bit of research when Crabby gave the ordinance officer pictures she took of my hens).

Ladyfeather I went to Specialy Growers on Golf Club. Karen Bovio grows the best perennials around. IMO

Juise Just how many yards of wood chips did you get? Between my truck and trailer I can haul about 3 yards at a time.

It is being added to the file. Stalking, harassment, trespass, destruction of property, even "uttering and publishing". Like a spurned "ex", this woman is going over the top. Next step is a PPO.

I keep coming in for a beer and I check the forum when I do.
I need someone to motivate me to plant these 50+ plants I've picked up. And I still have a yard of topsoil to move, level the front block border and plant those cedars...

Today was my first day of not working. HOW WEIRD! I actually slept thru the night. Woke up with numb hands... Thats annoying. Well, went shopping... Changed feeder and water-er in the aremeat meaties coop. (have to counter Moms notmeaties...) Got the back yard mowed after nearly 15 minutes of trying to get the mower to stay running... Just read the days posts. I started earlier, but got side tracked... OH, and working on my 3rd load of laundry. I wanna shower, a big "O", and my bed. Thank God I do not have to work tonight. I should go clean out the coops.

I have to get the ducklings put away.. they are in a makeshift pen in the front yard. Have to run the sprinkler for the veggie bed, and get the long and crooked necks transplanted.... there is always tomorrow for that though. I should go take a gander at the chicklings too. I haven't had a chance to check their feet. Skeeter was to dang violent yesterday. She is much better today.

I bought my first pair of crocs. Very comfy. Don't like the strap that goes around the heal, or where it goes thru the shoe. Going to take a screwdriver to it, and pop the caps out.

And no novel today.
