Do you know what these are? They were both found on milkweed.

Both weevils, what kind.... looks like Broad nose and Hollyhock but hard to say. If I find bugs I'm not sure about we live close to the U of M biological station and I find someone who does know. Also a great web site is http://www.bugguide.net

We ended up with 2 inches of rain yesterday. We needed it but I didn't enjoy getting it. We visited 1muttsfan (lovely place and lovely chickens!) and my son got some chickens for his 4-H projects. All the way home he asks "Mom do you think I made the right choice?" He would take all the chickens if he could. They are all settled and doing fine. Amazingly only one has been named so far. So last night before bed he says mom I'm having trouble breathing. So I send him off for his inhaler. I get woken at 2 with the same problem so off we went to the ER for a nebulizer treatment. He is fine now. I think he has been being lazy with taking his inhaler the past few days and he wasn't really getting a full dose of medicine. I didn't get to sleep in this morning so needless to say I am sleepy now. I think I will go and finish planting potatoes so I don't fall asleep.

A week eh? I better get busy and make the place look presentable for company. Saturday or Sunday will work for me.

I might have to put you to work, my new counter is supposed to be here by Wednesday. I might be tearing up the kitchen.

At least the grills will available.
