Yup it does, but thanks. I don't mind so much when its just one chicken here and there, wild animals are trying to survive too. At least its not like a coon or a dog/fox/coyote, taking out a whole coop.

that stinks. I didnt realize cats would kill and eat chickens. Guess I always thought of cats/farms/chickens...chicks, different story. I KNOW my Sushi would like some baby uggo.


I am running around like crazy trying to find something that I can put the two silkies in. Nova, if you have grass, my girls are gonna be so so happy.

AND I am trying to find something to cover my pen with- or else Robins roadrunner will run like the wind, and even my superduper net wont catch her.

ROBIN- I am thinking I will keep her in the cage. You can hook up with my hubby at deer hunting season some time and give it to him. Probably best if we dont try to let her out or she may well be a free meal to the coons in Delta Mills park.

How about sheets? As in bed sheets? Think I could cover the pen with bed sheets to keep birds in and give em some shade? Sure, why not,. ....I will steal my daughters. lol.

which way are you taking to get there? Its nice to know SOMEONE else is going the same way...in case you know, I break down on the side of the road and have to use Chimi as a roadblock...if you see someone out there waving a white chicken, trying to flag down help, make sure you stop.

I've packaged 2 chicken for the raffle table and I am in the process of boning out the rest. Man does that take a lot of time. Plus the smell is making it difficult to not stop and eat some.

I refuse to shop at WalMart. I'll be running over people in Target. Which is pretty much what I do in my head now anyway... except with a cart. And occasionally my car.

ok, I finally figured out what to put on the raffle table - a jar of home made feta in olive oil. just made it yesterday and put it in the jar tonight. Unless I eat it all on the way there, anyway.

I hope to find some nice pullets/hens and a roo or two for my nephew. He has a barn 10x bigger than ours so I told him I'm gonna fill it up! But he only gave me a $50 limit LOL
